Pixel-based fishing assistant

Driftwood

Cast, watch, hook, loot – again and again. Driftwood handles the fishing while you handle everything else. It only looks at your screen and presses keys, just like you would.

Planned. Vanilla water, vanilla bobbers – same pixel-based approach.

Built like a careful angler

No hooks into the game, no injected code. Driftwood sees what you see and does what you would do.

Pixels only

Reads the screen and sends normal keyboard and mouse input. It never reads game memory, injects code or touches game files.

Learns any water

Learns the water colour on every cast and spots the bobber as the new detail – green harbours, icy coasts or dark lakes.

Human-like input

Natural reaction times and curved mouse paths with slight tremor and the occasional overshoot – never robotic straight lines.

Lure management

Reads your lure buff and its remaining time, then re-applies it between two casts. Falls back to a timer if needed.

Safe by design

Pauses when the game loses focus, stops on repeated failures and has a global emergency stop on End.

Docking overlay

A small panel docks next to the game window and follows it: live state, catches, success rate and lure timer.

How a cast works

Every throw follows the same patient routine.

Cast

Presses your fishing key and finds the bobber in the water.

Watch

Watches the bobber closely and calibrates the splash threshold per cast.

Hook

Right-clicks the bobber after a human reaction time.

Loot

Confirms the catch through auto loot, then casts again.

Questions & answers

Which servers and clients are supported?

Right now Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a (build 12340) on private servers. Details and setup steps are on the WotLK page. More versions are planned.

Is it allowed on my server?

That depends on your server. Many private servers forbid automation. Check the rules of your realm before you use Driftwood – you are responsible for how you use it.

Can it be detected?

No tool is undetectable. Driftwood only reads pixels and sends regular input with human-like timing, and it never touches the game process. A game master watching you can still notice a character that fishes for hours.

Does it need an internet connection?

Only now and then. After activation the license stays valid offline for up to 24 hours and renews itself in the background.

I got a new PC. What now?

Open the self-service page, enter your license key and unbind your devices (possible once every 30 days). If your old PC has not been used for 7 days, the new PC takes over automatically when you activate.
